Course Aims
To provide the delegate with correctly fitted PPE, namely a mask, to enable them to offset the effects of fine particulate dust (eg. Silica), as a last resort.
Benefits
By the end of the training delegates will have been:
- Correctly fitted for a mask based on the ‘3M’ Model for assessment.
- Correctly assessed on their compatibility with an FFP3 mask type (disposable mask or ½ mask) based on the ‘3M’ Model for assessment.
- Understand the reasons for the introduction of Face fit testing.
- Understand their legislative responsibilities.
